Tealeaves, a luxury tea blender for 5-star hotels and Michelin restaurants, required an art direction that reflected its innovative spirit and artistic ethos. The challenge was to move beyond the "expected" grandma-style aesthetic that defined the category, and reposition the brand as a contemporary patron of art and design.

The task was to retain the brand's core connection to nature while infusing it with an avant-garde sensibility. We evolved the visual language from nostalgic watercolors to a bold, organic, and surrealistic style—creating a distinctive identity that is both timeless and forward-looking. By moving away from literal, old-school illustrations, we developed a sophisticated visual language that captures the beauty and artistry of tea.
